Boulder, CO — @Last Software, makers of SketchUp, announced today that Callison has purchased SketchUp for firm-wide deployment. More than 550 Callison professionals worldwide will take advantage of the powerful, easy-to-use features of SketchUp. In conjunction with their firm-wide adoption of SketchUp, Callison has sponsored an educational grant. The grant provides SketchUp to the design laboratories and faculty at the University of Washington’s College of Architecture and Urban Planning. More than 640 students will have access to SketchUp in their labs and studios. Additionally, the grant makes SketchUp available to the college’s entire faculty.
“We have increasingly come to rely on SketchUp to provide us with a level of speed and flexibility that enhances our creative and competitive capabilities,” stated Susan Koenigs, Director of IT, at Callison. “After looking at our options, it only made sense to make SketchUp available to everyone at Callison — both at the office and at home.”
“Callison has leveraged their wealth of design talent and a savvy implementation of technology to become the world’s top retail architecture firm,” said Tom Wyman, Director of Market Development at @Last Software. “We are excited to be a part of their design process, and look forward to contributing to Callison’s continued success.”
